midi-bass update post corona

opening my midi bass...

the mess I had before with an "old" teensy 3.6 and most connections directly soldered to the teensy, this would make an exchange very difficult, should it ever break.

 

layout of the new breakout-board for teensy 4.1.  

new breakout board soldered, all sensors from the bass solder directly to this board so that the teensy 4.1 can be swapped in and out should it ever break.

soldering all the sensor connections to the board and inserting the teensy 4.1.. notice the microSD breakout board to use i2c on pin 44 and 45. this allows me to use all 18 analog inputs...

final microSD breakout I used, great design and small. (the one before was broken off a microSD extension cable and was a bit large and fragile. get them here: https://lectronz.com/products/microsd-male-breakout-board

the bass closed again, notice the trill ring for an "arpeggiator wheel", and the accordion like controller from two trill crafts and a teensy lc. get trills here: https://bela.io/products/trill/

Breath Midi Controller with CV out.
